SOUTHSIDE RAILJAM THIS SATURDAY
Don’t
forget this Saturday is the Southside Railjam hosted by the Homewood Flossmoor
Park District. Come out and ride or check out the action. Raging Buffalo regulars usually represent at these events…congrats
to Brandon “Little Sak” and Robbie ‘Rondo’ Mac
for their 2nd and 3rd place podiums at last weekend’s
Moda 3 railjam in Milwaukee
(Open Class riders/100 competitors).
This Sunday
we are having our pre-season USASA kickoff at the NEW Liquid Sports
location in Prairie Grove (Just east of Crystal
Lake). The meeting is at 3pm and we will be addressing
the upcoming season’s schedule, helping with any USASA member registrations for
this year, taking orders for team jackets, and announcing plans for a USASA
railjam in Chicago,
on Michigan Avenue,
through the Mayor’s office of Special Events this February. We need to schedule
practice times and demos for this event as the City wants it to span 4 days. We
expect HUGE media attention on this one. Liquid Sports and Burton have signed on again to sponsor our
series and all USASA members, family, and guests will receive special pricing
on any purchases made this Sunday. Also any of our Raging Buffalo Patrollers
and their families will be receiving special pricing as well. Thinking of
joining our patrol?? Stop by and find out as well. Gear by: Burton, Lib Tech, Rome,
Gnu, Roxy, Grenade, 32, Oakley, Anon, R.E.D.,and others will be specially

Burton World
Tour and Movie Premier Party is happening in Chicago on Monday, Oct. 20th, 5:30
– 8pm. Burton
is hosting several pro snowboarders at the Chicago Flagship location for an
Autograph Session, followed by a Movie Premier Party. Details can be

JOB FAIR AND OPEN HOUSE
Due to the
weekend road construction on Rt 31 at the entrance to Raging Buffalo our Job
Fair & Open House will be held at Liquid Sports this year. We will once
again be hiring for lift operators, counter/ticket sales, instructors, and
snowcrew. We also will be looking to add to our volunteer ski/snowboard
patrol. Filling out our application in advanced will speed up your interview

During our
OPEN HOUSE we will be issuing season passes, memberships, lift ticket packs,
and Learn to Snowboard cards. If you have ordered a pre-season deal you
may stop by for your photo and to pick up your passes. LIQUID SPORTS will also
be offering specials on all of their snowboard gear to all Raging Buffalo
customers during the open house.
