always hectic as we get into the swing of things. We hope to be done by 4:30 pm if and when
everything runs smoothly.
Friday night is the coaching sessions which are optional but
very beneficial to the riders. We have
some riders that will be privately coached and riders that will be group
coached. This is a great opportunity to
get an idea of what the judges are looking for and practice your runs for the
weekend.
Saturday Morning – It’s very important that you arrive early
so that you can check in and get your bib.Check In is from 9am-10am.If you
show up at 10:01am you will be charged a $10 late fee per event for that
day.At this time you can also pay for
your lunch. This is open to competitors
and their families. We feel that it’s
important that our riders have the opportunity for a healthy lunch during
competition days.Next, The riders
meeting will be held at 10:30am at the deck in front of the patrol
trailer. All riders MUST be at the
riders meeting, it is mandatory.The
riders meeting is the perfect time to ask the Judges/Coaches questions about
the competition and what they are looking for.If all goes as planned the first event will start at 11am.We will then take a lunch break in between
events. The second competition for the day
will start at approximately 1 or 1:30ish.Due to unknown issues that may occur we cannot give exact times for
event start/end times.Once finished
with the second event there is a break so that we can tabulate the scores and
get ready for awards. Each day of
competitions we have awards and raffle off a brand new 2010 Burton Snowboard.
