You just have to go out there and do it. If you let your fear get in the way then you'll never do it. Start on small rails and work your way up to bigger stuff. All of us start on the baby rails in the baby park at some point so don't worry about falling and whatnot. It's like riding a box, except it's a rail. Focus on balancing. Also just look at the end of the rail. Don't look down. If you look down you'll throw off your balance and you'll fall. What I did to help me learn rails was I watched a lot of riders do rails (riders that aren't sponsored or pro level or anything, just regular kids that love to shred) and i've also watched pro shreds hit rails. I studied how they hit the rails and then when i'd go to the hill i'd try to apply everything I noticed of how all those other riders hit the rails. For a long time I let my fear get in the way but now i'm like you know what, I just have to go out there and hit it and do it. No fear. No pain, no gain. It's all about progression and having fun.

If you ever want some coaching feel free to get in touch with me. My aim is tiedyedsprites

Yup I'm w/ Geek on that. More time on the pipes and you'll be dialed in
no time. Remember to that the slower you go the harder it is to balance
but go to fast and jibs don't look to good. Don't get discouraged
either cause there's a good chance you'll get worked a couple times.
HELMET HELMET HELMET. Otherwise you can count on needing a drool cup
and a bed pan! Hahaha just jokes. Take your time and work your way up
to the bigger stuff. Good shredin!
