RB is a little hill and it costs a whole lot to run a hill. The hill that I normally ride at on weekends had to up their lift ticket prices because it costs so much to run the place and it's bigger than RB. You have to consider the cost of making snow, electricity, water, food and drinks, season passes, the rental gear.. running a hill isn't cheap. The prices really could be worse so seriously I wouldn't be complaining if I was you.

the rates are straight, from someone who doesnt work there. They need to pay the bills, and yea it can get up there, but Im more than happy to help out a little place like buffalo. they dont really have all the natural snow and all the stuff that Alpine or places like that have. they could open at another place and let skiers come in!!!!!!! If they did they would be bankin out. I thought the rates would be better after that. I remember when I was in high school, i would go there daily. I love that place, amd for all you punks that are all about that poser ass RQ. get real, FA for life.

Yes skiers ARE allowed this year and with accompanying poles. I'm going to give you a word to remember all season long when wanting to beef about rates...INSURANCE! Now as we all know, well those of us in this biz for 15+ years, the sideways sports have taken off in the past 5yrs and thats made things more public and more fat kids in greenbay jackets have put their PS2 controlers down and decided to start hucking WITHOUT A CLUE! More injuries , more incedents of ignorance, more coart cases, all this adds up to rediculous insurance rates. And it all trickles down to you, the consumer. So save you nickles shreddies. cya

"more fat kids in greenbay jackets have put their PS2 controlers down and decided to start hucking WITHOUT A CLUE!" hahahahaha, so true. rates are still pretty good for a park with the membership. i guess its hard to complain about a free pass and riding for $15, but even at that i gotta pay for gas and all that *hunkastank* which adds up now. its probably going to run me about $22 each time i go. i doubt i could get anybody to go with me if they had to pay full price on the weekend. i mean its the same price at the major resorts in Colorado.

Yeah gas does suck now. I 've got 34 gal. of pain every fillup. It's a good idea to maybe set up a group of 2 or 3 shredheads on a weekly ride time and be able to split the cost a little. I'm gonna look into a diesel/grease convertion when this V10 has had it. Gas price to operate the cats is another factor for th increases to.

"i mean its the same price at the major resorts in Colorado." Walk up, midseason, weekend rates at vail this year are $81, and a lot of other summit county places aren't far behind. I picked up my 1st membership and it seems like an awsome alternative between a season pass and buying single tickets

Yea the single day passes are pretty ridiculous compared to the other midwest places. Tyrol, Cascade, and Chestnut are bigger, with more lifts, and still cost less than RB. Plus, their parks are more wide-open (so you get snaked less, but it still happens) with more, and usually better stuff. But if you live around RB, the season pass deal is pretty good. You can also get that membership thing so you can do the sessions, which are a whole lot cheaper. But yea, the single tickets are too expensive for a place like this
