Ahhhh....you obviously have not seen my email box As it goes every year, it is weather dependent. Beleive me, we are chomping at the bit to open. Make sure that you are on the email list and we wil send out an email the night before we open. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park Staff WINTER IS COMING.....

I like winter storm warnings that say we are getting anywhere from 6" to 1' of snow.
So... are you going to be open on Friday? I'm super anxious to get my jib on!

im doubting friday but most likely this weekend or monday they will open... a foot is a good base but dont forget they still gotta make enough snow for ramps and stuff... but im deffinately ready to start riding again.

Well don't forget they can blow snow, too. They already have snow down. The pipe walls are built. They just have to finish blowing snow to get the base and finish building everything. They could possibly open tomorrow. The forecast now says up to 16" by the end of the day tomorrow.

i didnt kno they had started blowing snow again before yesterday cuz last time i was there the pile they had thats on the homepage was like basically all melted... thatd be sick if they opened today... or even tomorrow would be good

Ah, man. My bad dude. I was looking at a satellite image of raging on google maps and it must be old then. I have no clue how often they actually change those images. I totally thought it was super recent but that's my bad. Hopefully they've been able to blow snow and get stuff up. I'm hoping they'll be open next week. I really want to get as much time on snow as I can.

We've been blowing snow around the clock....make sure you're on the list and we'll send out an email the night before we open.

Okay a little perspediitve here kiddies. 10-12 inches of natures goodies + warm weather 48hrs before the snowfall = 2inch base if your lucky. Not mention untrained noobs behind the counters everywhere, ropes to hang, cats to dig out of the dirt, and a staff that needs at least 24 hrs notice before they open the doors. You all waited 9 or 10 months so far just hang in there for another day or two cause I'm sure you would rather have some fun stuff to ride rather than 1 jump and a 6inch high rail. And as much as you may want a 1/2pipe you gonna be waiting a little longer than opening day. Remember the gound isn't frozen yet so the boys are making it and still losing snow from the bottom because of latent heat. Now that Dr. Ugly has given you your science rap for the evening dream of sideways my little shredheads... cya

a couple things.
1. the link to be added to the email list doesn't work on the main page with Safari.
2. Update the voicemail on the Buffalo hotline to include a date and time it was created. This way I know I'm not listening to something someone neglected to update.
3. Are they opening today?

every day its the next day... theres snow on the ground everyon go shovel some snow and do some hand rails or mess around on a picnic bench buffalo will open when its ready and in a good riding state... although i am ready for buffalo to open u can always mess around on stuff to be ready for the real thing when it comes

a small handrail, a box, a small jump, a couple of tables.
The big table on the right you gotta roll in hot off the rope. A couple of the people didn't hit it with enough speed and cased the landing. Leading to some spectacular falls.
There is some table thing at the bottom that could use some massaging in order to make it useful.
on the left side there is a small table. Then there is a decent gap that was closed, but people were using the landing as a hip type hit. The landing for that was getting a bit crappy though.
There is enough to entertain. I enjoyed the handrail, but I wish it was longer and had a cleaner approach.
