Just a little FYI for all you youngins' out there right now. . .If you are looking into city universities, good things are happening in the shreducation department. This year, snowboard clubs have been started at Loyola University and Depaul. That means now there is a way to go to school in the city (which is amazing) and still be able to snowboard a decent amount. You'll get hooked up not only with trips and late night jib sessions in the city but fun parties and a cool way to get involved around campus (finally. . .something a little bit more fun than the Technology Club). The coolest thing about these new clubs is that they are the first college snow-clubs solely for snowboarders, at least that I've heard of. So if you're looking into colleges around Chicago, drop me a line, I'll fill you in with more details and get you in contact with whoever is running either school's club. If you end up at a school that doesn't have a club, START ONE! spread the shred. out, Eddie eddieschoen@RedBullU.com
